Daniel mentions the work of the Greek economist Yanis Varioufakis. In the article above, I feel a pearl of wisdom in the article, “Today, though, algorithms are not used for planning on behalf of society at large; they are used to maximize the cloud rents of the owners.” What kind of world could we build with AI helping to liberate humanity? This is the question now.
