Navajo philosophy employs the phrase "Hozho," which means to walk in beauty with every step one takes and every breath one takes. It’s walking in harmony and balance with nature, which my colonialist ancestors didn’t follow. It’s time to give up the settler colonialism and move towards a communal way of life that honors the beauty of nature.
